Washington CH woman gets community control in Highland County drug theft case

A Washington Court House woman was sentenced to community control recently after pleading guilty to theft of drugs in Highland County.

As previously reported, Quinnesha Dixson, whose age is not listed, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in February and charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony; and theft of drugs, a fourth-degree felony.

According to court records, Dixson pleaded guilty to the fourth-degree felony charge of theft of drugs in May.

It is alleged that on or about July 18, 2023 Dixson “did … knowingly obtain or exert control over” 80 hydrocodone pills “and other miscellaneous items” without the owner’s consent.

During a hearing in June, Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Dixson to three years of community control and dismissed the drug possession charge.
