Two men have been charged with criminal trespassing after an alert citizen called 911 to report two subjects who allegedly attempted to break in to Georgia's Bridal Shop on North High Street in Hillsboro.

The Hillsboro Police Department said officers located Dusty Oates, 25, and Mark J. Vaught, 30, behind a commercial building in the 100 block of North High Street. Both were charged with criminal trespassing and booked into the Highland County Justice Center, the HPD said.

Oates also was detained on an indictment from Highland County Common Pleas Court.

The incident remains under investigation.[[In-content Ad]]
