Truck slides off Route 247

A truck driver suffered minor injuries following a Monday morning accident on state Route 247 at Patton Road just south of Hillsboro.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver was southbound and apparently drove off the berm on the west edge of the highway and lost control.

The driver had a dumptruck load of asphalt.

Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District also responded to the accident.
