Tim Wisecup selected as Pepsi Max Field of Dreams winner

The votes are in and after competing against three other finalists, former Greenfield resident Tim Wisecup, now of Hilliard, has been selected as the winner of the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams contest.
As the fan-selected winner, Wisecup will bring a dream team of major league baseball greats to Columbus next spring and play the ultimate fan face-off game with 10 of his friends against this team of legendary players including Dennis Eckersley, Johnny Bench and Reggie Jackson.
From Sept. 14-Oct. 5, fans had the chance to visit mlb.com/pepsimax to vote for which of the four finalists they wanted to host the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams Team. Now as the winner, Wisecup will have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and share it with friends, family and the community.
“Pepsi MAX wanted to engage MLB fans by offering them a one-of-a kind experience with some of the greatest players in the game of baseball,” said Mark Rooks, senior director for Pepsi sports marketing. “We are looking forward to bringing the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams team to Columbus and seeing Tim and his friends play against these legends. It is sure to be a great event for the entire community.”

In addition to playing against the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams team, Wisecup will also have the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Game 2 of the World Series on October 20th. In preparation for this big moment, FOX will air a :15 promo during Game 1 of Wisecup practicing his pitching, so be sure to tune in on Wednesday, October 19th.
