TEA Party meets Oct. 19

The Highland County TEA Party will hold a special educational meeting Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Hi-TEC building at 1575 North High St., Hillsboro.
Maurice Thompson, the executive director of the 1851 Center for Constitutional Law, dedicated to protecting Ohioans from government abuse, will give a special presentation. He was an early leader of the Ohio Project, which enabled the record signature drive, resulting in Issue 3 being on the ballot next month.
Thompson will speak at the TEA Party meeting to help interested attendees to gain a better understanding of the constitutional issues surrounding Issue 3 and to be better equipped to vote intelligently. Thompson's presentation will be followed by an open question-and-answer period on constitutional issues.[[In-content Ad]]
