Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) announced that State Representative Doug Green (R-Mt. Orab) has been appointed to serve as chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Public Safety, a committee in which he had previously served as vice chair.
Green is serving in his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives and represents the 66th Ohio House District, which includes Brown County and portions of eastern Clermont County.
“I’m honored to be appointed as chairman of Transportation and Public Safety,” Rep. Green said. “I have large shoes to fill as the last chairman, former Representative Terry Boose, did a tremendous job. With the help of top notch staff and talented committee members, I am positive that we will make Ohio proud of our service.”
The appointment takes effect immediately. The full committee will be announced in the near future.
