A round of golf and a Happy Father's Day weekend

If two conservative Republicans and two liberal Democrats can enjoy a round of golf and a cold beer on Father's Day weekend, maybe there's hope for American government, after all.
After playing a round of golf on Saturday, June 18, President Barack Obama has a drink with Vice President Joe Biden (right), Speaker of the House John Boehner (left), and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (back to the camera) at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
White House spokesman Jay Carney said the golf outing was “meant to be an opportunity for the speaker and the president, as well as the vice president and Ohio governor, to have a conversation, to socialize in a way that so rarely happens in Washington.’’
President Obama later dedicated his weekly radio address to fatherhood in advance of Father’s Day, June 19.
