The Adena Health Foundation is accepting proposals from non-profit organizations in area counties to initiate or improve projects that address health concerns of high importance to the region.
A total of $100,000 in Community Health Partners grants is available from funding made possible from Adena Health System’s Community Benefit program. Individual requests may not exceed $10,000 and organizations that received CHP grants in 2009 are not eligible to receive funding this year.
Organizations in Adams, Fayette, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Pickaway, Pike, Scioto, Ross and Vinton counties are eligible to submit grant proposals. Collaborative and faith-based organizations also are encouraged to apply.
The funding application is available online at www.adena.org by going to the Foundation tab on the top right of the home page, and then clicking on the Community Benefit’s CHP Grant tab.
For more information, contact Peggy Depugh-Landrum, the foundation’s community benefit coordinator at 740-779-7032. She also can be reached at plandrum@adena.org, or at the Adena Health Foundation, 138 Marietta Road, Suite C, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
