Paint Creek responds to vehicle fire in Greenfield

The Greenfield station of the Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District responded to a van of fire at 2:33 a.m. Tuesday.
The van was parked at the home of Ron Houseman on Mirabeau Street in Greenfield.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time, according to Paint Creek firefighter and public information officer Branden Jackman. No injuries were reported.

“The van was obviously a loss, and there was some minor damage to the home,” Jackman told The Highland County Press. “The heat from the fire melted some siding off of the house.”
Units were on the scene for just over an hour, Jackman said.
