Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District responds to East Main Street house fire

Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District responded to a house fire in the 400 block of East Main Street in Hillsboro Monday morning.

The house is situated at the intersection of East Main Street and Bowers Avenue, across from the Highland County Engineer's Office and county highway department.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from structure.

The Hillsboro Police Department has temporarily closed East Main Street (S.R. 124).
