By
Ohio Department of Agriculture, Press Release

The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) is issuing a Public Health Advisory for all Diamond Shruumz brand Infused Cones, Chocolate Bars and Gummies (Micro and Mega/Extreme-Dose) due to their alleged link with multiple illnesses and one potential death.

Prophet Premium Blends of Santa Ana, Calif. issued a recall (Recall) of all Diamond Shruumz brands products on June 27, 2024; however, through recall audit checks, ODA has become aware the products are still being offered for sale in smoke/vape shops and other retail stores in Ohio.

See the recall at: https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/pro….

The recall was issued in response to multiple reports of illnesses across the United States. Ill persons reported neurological symptoms including seizures, central nervous system depression (loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness), agitation, abnormal heart rates, hyper/hypotension, as well as nausea and vomiting.

All Diamond Shruumz brand products have been recalled and should not be available for sale. This advisory is to warn retailers to pull products from their shelves, as well as alert consumers not to purchase or consume Diamond Shruumz brand products.

Please report any retailers still selling Diamond Shruumz brand products to the Ohio Department of Agriculture's Division of Food Safety at foodsafety@agri.ohio.gov or by calling 614-728-6250.
