OAR 100th annual convention begins Sept. 15

The 29,000-member Ohio Association of REALTORS, the state's largest professional trade association, will conduct its 100th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Cincinnati, Sept. 12-15.
When you turn 100, well, it's cause for celebration! This convention and trade show promises to capture all the excitement and grander befitting a centennial celebration from top-notch professional development opportunities to memorable parties featuring the best music talent to the latest industry trends to a glitzy exhibition featuring products and services designed to help you succeed in this ever changing marketplace.
Brian Olsen with his "Art in Action," sponsored by Fifth Third Mortgage, is a colorful display of paint, energy, music and passion with a purpose and will be the perfect lead-off entertainment to a full schedule of fun and entertainment during OAR's Opening General Session. Additionally, OAR's 2010 "REALTOR of the Year" Award will be presented.
One of the biggest draws to any OAR Convention is the opportunity to hear top speakers at the same time REALTORS conveniently earn free continuing education credit. At this year's Convention, participants can hear such engaging speakers as Bill Lublin, Joseph Daly, John Tuccillo, Bruce Adyt, Doug Devitre and Lynn Madison and earn up to 12 hours of credit.
More than 50 exhibitors will be on hand during the Trade Show displaying the newest technology, gadgets and products to help real estate professionals provide top-notch service.
In the evening, REALTORS will have an array of exciting nightlife opportunities, with three big nights of fun entertainment including "The Present is a Gift" 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner; "Yesterday is history" OAR Riverboat Casino Party, music by These Guys Live and "Tomorrow is a Mystery" Party with The Clyde Brown Band, sponsored by Bank of America.
The highlight will be the President's Sales Club Reception & Awards Dinner, when 2,053 REALTORS will be honored for outstanding sales performance over the past year and for the first time, OAR will honor the "Top 5" recipients in the Individual Award dollar volume; Individual Award transaction credits; Team Award dollar volume; and team Award transaction credits categories.[[In-content Ad]]
