Missing Highland County teens found in Mississippi

On Saturday, Jan. 21, the Highland County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Ocean Springs, Mississippi Police Department in Jackson County, Miss. regarding two runaway teens from Highland County.
Highland County Detectives had been in contact with the Ocean Springs Police Department after receiving information that Kendra Ison, 16, and Charles "Beau" Sykora, III, 17, had run away together from Highland County on Jan. 14. On Jan. 21, officers with the Ocean Springs Police Department located both juveniles in their jurisdiction and held them until family could arrive to transport them back to Ohio.
Both teens will be brought back to Ohio by family and are scheduled to appear in Highland County Juvenile Court on charges relating to the removal of a vehicle from the state of Ohio and for running away from their custodial parents.[[In-content Ad]]
