McCall among top 4 candidates for Marion Technical College president

Southern State Community College Vice-President of Academic Affairs Dr. Ryan McCall is reportedly among four finalists in Marion Technical College’s presidential search.

The Marion Star reports that candidates have been narrowed down to McCall, Vicky Wood, Daniel Deckler and Lisa Larson.

“They will be on campus for second interviews during the next two weeks,” the Star reported. “The candidate selected will replace John Erwin, who has served as interim president since J. Richard Bryson’s retirement in June.”

 

[[In-content Ad]]Dr. McCall has been employed at Southern State Community College since April 2007. He was formerly the Director of UB, UBMS and ETS at Shawnee State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in natural sciences. Dr. McCall received a master’s degree in biology from Morehead State University and a doctorate in higher education administration from Ohio University.

According to the Marion Technical College website, the college offers over 60 programs, majors, degrees and certifications. The school is located in Marion, Ohio.
