Lynchburg man charged with receiving stolen property

Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera reports that on June 3, 2015, the Highland County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on Short Road in Highland County.

Sheriff Barrera states that as a result of the search, officers located three stolen vehicles.

The first, a 2000 Ford F550 equipment truck, was reported stolen in February 2015 from Scioto County.

The second, a 2006 GMC one-ton utility truck, was reported stolen from Russell, Ky. in February 2015; and the third, a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck, was reported stolen from Jackson, Ohio in January 2015.
 
According to Sheriff Barrera, arrested and charged with receiving stolen property was Terry Yankie, 61, of Lynchburg.
 
The incident remains under investigation.
