Lynchburg Lions Club Car Show Winners Recognized

The annual Car and Motorcycle Show sponsored by the Lynchburg Lions Club and Martinsville I.O.O.F. was held on Sunday, September 20 at the Lynchburg Lions Club Park. Awards were presented to the Best of Show winner as well as Best Ford, Best Chrysler, Best General Motors, and Best "Other" exhibitors. Plaques were also given to the "Top Twenty" winners. The weather was very rainy and participation was lower than in previous years, and the sponsors. want to thank all who participated in the show.
The Best General Motors car plaque and the Best of Show trophy was won by Frank Terwilliger with a 1946 Chevrolet coupe. The Best Ford car was exhibited by Cliff Robbins, the Best Chrysler car was exhibited by Mike Shorten, and the Best Other was shown by Thomas Stout.
The Lynchburg Lions Club provided the food and the Lions Club and Martinsville I.O.O.F. co-sponsored the show. Everyone who participated received a specially designed dash plaque.
