Lisa A. Kisling Memorial scholarships awarded at 2009 Highland County Fair

Outstanding youth were recognized at the 2009 Highland County Fair by the announcement of this year's winners of the Lisa A. Kisling Memorial Scholarships. These scholarships were established to assist youth who have been active in Highland County 4-H, FFA, or Farm Bureau. Each winner received a $500 scholarship that was awarded at the Junior Beef Show at this year's fair. Three outstanding individuals received scholarships this year. Ashley Adams is the daughter of Craig and Kim Adams of Leesburg. Ashley is a graduate of Fairfield Local High School and is currently attending The Ohio State University's Agricultural Technical Institute. Josh Hawk is the son of Richard and Christine Hawk of Lynchburg. Josh is a graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School and is currently attending Southern State Community College. Austin Trueblood is the son of Dale and Melinda Blankenship of Sardinia. Austin is a graduate of Whiteoak High School and is currently attending Southern State Community College.
