Kidd calls on General Assembly to override DeWine veto

JACKSON – Second Congressional District candidate Larry Kidd issued the following statement after Gov. Mike DeWine vetoed House Bill 68, also known as the SAFE Act.

Kidd, a conservative Republican, said: “The SAFE Act protects fundamental fairness and competition in girls’ sports and prevents children from making permanent, life-altering decisions before they turn 18.

"I call on the Ohio General Assembly to quickly override this veto and protect Ohio children.”
