Kasich orders public flags flown at half-staff

On Friday, Governor John R. Kasich ordered that all flags throughout the state of Ohio be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Patriot Day, Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, in honor of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001.

In addition, Kasich asked that all Ohioans observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. EDT.
