Job applicants sought for Piketon positions

Fluor-B&W Portsmouth LLC will be conducting open interviews on July 13-14 at the Christopher Conference Center in Chillicothe.

Fluor-BW is recruiting candidates to fill approximately 60 positions for Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) work at the DOE Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon.

Open positions include welders, electricians, carpenters, HVAC mechanics, instrument mechanics and maintenance mechanics.

Candidates are to bring an updated resume and certifications. Candidates should attend based on the following schedule:

Wednesday, July 13, 1-6:30 p.m.: Last name begins with the letter A through L.

Thursday, July 14, 1-6:30 p.m.: Last name begins with the letter M through Z.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen as positions require the ability to obtain/maintain an L clearance. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check, physical and drug screen.

Consideration will be given to candidates with hiring preference defined in the Fluor-B&W/DOE Contract.
