Injuries reported in North High Street crash

A two-vehicle accident led to multiple injuries Friday morning, Oct. 30 in the 600 block of North High Street in Hillsboro.

A witness to the crash said a tire appeared to have blown out on a pickup truck and into the path of another vehicle.

The truck crossed the centerline to the east side of High Street and struck a utility pole.

Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District transported the victims to Highland District Hospital. The Hillsboro Police Department, the Hillsboro Street Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol also were on the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
