Husted releases educational video assuring Ohio voters their vote is secure

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has released an educational video to inform Ohioans of how their ballots are handled once cast and how the process for tabulating results is bipartisan and secure. This is the latest in a series of educational videos designed to encourage participation and create more awareness for the careful work that is done to ensure a smooth and secure election system.  

“In Ohio, we take pride in being a place where it is both easy to vote and hard to cheat,” Secretary Husted said. “It is important that we not lose faith in our elections and the power they give us change our nation through a civil and orderly transition of power. Hopefully this video illustration well give people peace of mind that we have built a secure election system in the state of Ohio."

You can click here to view the informational video on requesting and casting an absentee ballot, which encourages Ohioans to consider voting early.
