Ohio Cattlemen’s Association, Press Release

OCA President Mark Goecke appointed Tyler Humphrey of Allen County as the District 4 Director and Ryan Bapst of Pike County as the District 11 Director at the OCA board meeting in April.

These two appointments fill the unexpired terms previously held by the OCA president and vice president. Humphrey’s term will expire in 2026, and Bapst’s term will expire at the end of 2024.

Humphrey and his wife Lynette live in Harrod. They have four children — Ava, Ethan, Ezra and Abby. They own cattle and raise show pigs. Together as a family, they travel across the nation showing at various national shows and the OH Pigs Ohio Circuit.

Humphrey works for SC Online Sales, where he manages the northern sales representatives and also personally manages many online sales. He and his wife own and operate Humphrey AgriMarketing Solutions, LLC where they manage several live genetic events and provide consulting services to seedstock producers and breeders across the United States.

Bapst and his wife Jacy live in Waverly. They have two children — Aubrey and Rylee. As a family they are extremely involved with the Angus breed. They raise Angus seedstock, and their daughter Aubrey shows Angus cattle at both the state and national level.

Bapst serves as a Sales Manager for Ridley Block Operations, a company that manufactures and markets block supplements, loose minerals and dried molasses for cattle, equine, sheep and goats.
