Hillsboro woman found dead

At 2:33 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, officers of the Hillsboro Police Department responded with personnel from Hillsboro Fire and Rescue to 241 West Pleasant St. on a report of a non-breath subject. Upon arrival, the subject was found to be deceased from an unknown cause.
Highland County Coroner Paul W. Terrell came to the scene, and the body was removed to the Montgomery County Morgue for an autopsy. The subject was identified as Sharla L. Schott, age 32, of Hillsboro. The death remains under investigation.
