Hillsboro Police Report

On Jan. 11, the following incidents were reported to the Hillsboro Police Department.
At 12:55 a.m., the department received a call from Pea Ridge Road. The caller stated that someone had broken into their garage. The caller stated that her husband had chased the suspect down toward the apartments on Chariss Drive. The suspect was wearing dark clothing.
A resident in the 300 block of Danville Pike reported that someone entered her daughter's vehicle while it was parked in front of the house. Unknown person(s) removed her purse, which contained IDs, credit cards and other miscellaneous personal items.
At 12:18 p.m., Hillsboro High School called to report that a student had a band instrument come up missing over the past few days. The instrument is a Selmar clarinet with a Yamaha mouthpiece, valued at $990.
On Jan. 10, the High School also reported that someone had stolen the storm grate out of the lot.
