Hillsboro Police Report

On Dec. 17 at approximately 9 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from Rite Aid in Hillsboro. They advised a male subject entered the store and attempted to steal a bottle of Kamchatka vodka valued at $7.30. The male subject was last seen running from the store. This incident remains under investigation.
On Dec. 18 at approximately 11 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a fight at Alley 21. Upon officer arrival, a male subject later identified as Brandon Scott of Springfield was being disorderly in the parking lot. Scott was arrested for disorderly conduct and was taken to the Highland County Justice Center.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from a resident in the 200 block of East Walnut Street. The resident advised their garage had been broken into and items had been taken. A report was taken and remains under investigation.
