Hillsboro Police Report

At approximately 4:38 p.m., the Hillsboro Police received a complaint that three juveniles had just left a residence in the 400 block of South West Street, and the juveniles were alllowed to consume alcoholic beverages while at the residence. One of the juveniles, a female, reported that the adult male made sexual advances to her and exposed himself.
After investigation, Michael Eldridge, 23, of Hillsboro was arrested on two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor of the first degree; one count of public indecency, a misdemeanor of the third degree; and one count of sexual imposition, a misdemeanor of the third degree.
Eldridge was transported to the Highland County Justice Center and will be arraigned in Hillsboro Municipal Court before Judge David McKenna on Dec. 12.
On Dec. 10 at 1:10 a.m., the department received a call from Wal-Mart of Hillsboro that they had a female detained who had taken items from the store without paying for them. Upon investigation by the responding officer, Sara Goldie, 29, of Hillsboro was arrested for theft.
At 2:56 p.m, Speedway, West Main Street, Hillsboro reported they had a gas drive-off. This report is still under investigation.
