On Dec. 3, Alexandria Molen of Latham, driving a 2002 Pontiac, was traveling eastbound on East Main Street and failed to stop for a 2000 Ford that was stopped in traffic and was being driven by Robert Barger of Hillsboro. Molen was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
The Hillsboro Kroger advised a male and female attempted to take several hundred dollars' worth of meat and alcohol from the store. Report is still under investigation.
On Dec. 4, the Hillsboro K-Mart reported they had a male suspect detained that concealed items inside his shopping cart with merchandise that had been paid for. Michael Thery of Lynchburg was arrested for theft.
Seth Parshall of Hillsboro, driving a 2002 Volkswagon, was traveling northbound on North High Street and failed to stop for a 1997 Honda that was stopped in traffic and was being driven by Steven Garvie of Hillsboro. Parshall slid on the ice on the bridge and struck the Garvie vehicle. The Garvie vehicle received light damage.
Robert Comberger of Wilmington, driving a 1995 GMC was traveling northbound on North West Street and slid on the snow-covered roadway, causing him to go off the right side of the roadway and to hit a guy-wire for a telephone pole.

Christopher Magee, Hillsboro, for disorderly conduct.
Miranda Hester, Hillsboro, for obstructing.
Dec. 5:
Jeremy Hester, Greenfield, for criminal damage.
Kristin White, Hillsboro, for assured clear distance ahead.
Michael Brock, Hillsboro, for DUI, DWI, speed, failure to drive on right half of roadway, and failure to comply with officer.
Jonathan Shuemake, Hillsboro, for criminal damage.
Jennifer Riva, Hillsboro, for bench warrant.
