The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for April 23-28.

Arrests and Citations for April 23

Steven Tayor, 26, of Blanchester was cited for driving under suspension.

David Shelton, 70, of Hillsboro was cited for failure to yield.

David Dunn, 59, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.

Jeska Shaffer, 52, of Hillsboro was arrested on two bench warrants.

Brian Burba, 48, of Hillsboro was arrested for theft.

Roger Griffith, 29 of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.

Brandon Lowe, 25, of Hillsboro was cited for speed.

Kristopher Morgan, 30, of Hillsboro was cited for failure to yield and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

April 26

Venustiano Carranza, 19, of Mexico was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Phillip Dragston, 65, of Bainbridge was cited for driving under suspension.

Joseph Rackley, 44, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On April 23 at approximately 6:45 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area of East Main Street and Key Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Kristopher Morgan, 30, of Hillsboro was traveling westbound on East Main St and was preparing to turn left onto Key Street. Reba Marshall, 80, of Hillsboro was traveling eastbound on East Main Street. Morgan allegedly failed to yield to right of way to Marshall before making a left turn onto Key Street. As a result, Morgan allegedly collided with Marshall. No injuries were reported on scene. Morgan was cited for right of way when turning left.

On April 25 at approximately 4:01 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a report of a two-car crash in the 500 block of Harry Sauner Road. Upon arrival, Lee White, 69, of Bainbridge was turning eastbound out of a business onto Harry Sauner Road. Michelle Perkins, 50, of Hillsboro was traveling eastbound on Harry Sauner Road. White allegedly struck Perkins on the rear driver side door. Injuries were reported on scene. White was cited for right of way on public roadways.

April 28

Robert Hill, 62, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding assault charge and bench warrant.  

On April 28 at approximately 6:56 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 500 block of North High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, a juvenile was backing from private property onto North High Street. Gabrielle Rose, 26, of Seaman was traveling northbound on North High Street. The juvenile allegedly backed into the roadway in the path of Rose, allegedly causing Rose to strike the rear passenger side of the juvenile’s vehicle. No injuries were reported on scene. The juvenile was cited for right of way on public highway.

On April 28 at approximately 3:43 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 100 block of East Main Street for a report of a two-car crash. Robert Lilly, 72, of Dayton and Joetta Freeman, 59, of Hillsboro were both traveling westbound on East Main Street. Freeman was in the right turn lane to turn northbound onto North High Street. Lilly was in the straight lane to travel westbound on West Main Street when he allegedly attempted to make a lane change into the right turn lane, causing him to strike Freeman’s driver side door. No injuries were reported on scene. Lilly was cited for marked lanes.
