Hillsboro City Schools Board earns Gold Level Effective School Board Award

On Tuesday, March 8, the Hillsboro City Schools Board of Education attended the Ohio School Boards Association’s Southwest Region Spring Conference held at Scarlet Oaks in Sharonville.
The spring conference is designed to help local boards of education network with other boards within their region, present a state legislative update, and to award districts for their achievements.
The Hillsboro City Schools Board of Education was presented with the Gold Level Effective School Board Award.
The Southwest Region is made up of 17 counties, and Hillsboro CSD Board of Education was one of 25 Public School Boards to receive the highest level of gold. This is the fifth year in a row the Hillsboro CSD Board of Education has reached this highest level of achievement.
Hillsboro CSD Board member Beverly Rhoads was one of 21 board members in the Southwest Region individually recognized with the OSBA Award of Achievement. This was the ninth time Mrs. Rhoads has received this prestigious award.
