Highland County Veterans Service Commission thanks Steve Haag for contributions

The Highland County Veterans Service Commission thanked Steve Haag of Jerry Haag Motors for his recent donation to the commission.

The VSC expressed their appreciation during a Friday afternoon ceremony at Jerry Haag Motors on North High Street in Hillsboro.

Attending the event were: Stephanie Roland, Becky Williams, Steve Haag, Ekko Lane, Brian Fox, Gary Smaltz, Joe W. Thompson and Barbara Suttle.

A portion of the patriotic wrap for the car was donated by Greg Abbott.

The Veterans Service Commission currently serves approximately 4,000 veterans in Highland County. They invite any veteran who may need a ride to their VA appointments to call 937-393-8686.
