Highland County Sheriff's Report
The following is the Highland County Sheriff’s Office report for Nov. 29-30.
Nov. 29
A deputy on patrol in Paint Township observed a female allegedly driving a vehicle after recently being cited for driving under suspension and failing to file for yearly registration. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle on Highland Hills Drive. The driver allegedly continued operating the vehicle until stopping in the 11000 block of Dundee Drive. The driver, identified as Lisa L. Redman, 59, of Hillsboro, was charged with failure to comply, driving under suspension and failure to file for annual registration.
A deputy responded to the 700 block of Greenbush Road after a report of a landlord and tenant dispute. After speaking to both parties, both parties decided to work out a resolution.
Nov. 30
Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Lakefront Drive after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, Jesse W. Howland, 47, of Hillsboro, was arrested and charged with domestic violence and strangulation.
A resident of the 200 block of Sycamore Street, Lynchburg, reported fraud.
A deputy responded to the 11000 block of Hickory Trail after a report of a burglary, several items were reported missing. This incident remains under investigation.
