Highland County Sheriff's Report

These incidents were reported by the Highland County Sheriff's Office.

Jan. 22

A business in the 1500 block of U.S. 50 advised receiving a counterfeit bill. This incident remains under investigation.

Jan. 23

A resident of the 8900 block of Patton Road reported an on-going property dispute with a neighbor. After investigation, it was determined the incident was civil. Complainant was advised to contact their attorney.

A deputy responded to the 8700 block of Brannen Road to a complaint of a vehicle vandalized. This incident remains under investigation.

A business in the 11000 block of North Shore Drive reported shoplifting. This incident remains under investigation.
