The Highland County Sheriff's Office Jail Division has released the weekly jail statistics report by Deputy Melissa Stewart and Sheriff Donald Barrera.

During the week of June 22-28, the Highland County Sheriff’s Office housed an average of 65 inmates, completed 45 transports, practiced one fire drill and performed one safety inspection.

There were 43 bookings during this week. Fifteen female inmates were housed, along with 50 male inmates.

Fifty felony charges, 89 misdemeanor charges and 27 drug-related charges were issued this week.

The Sheriff's Office conducted 41 transports to court and four transports to other facilities, for an estimated 250 miles.
