Highland County Sheriff's Office Jail Division Report

The Highland County Sheriff's Office Jail Division has released the weekly jail statistics report by Deputy Melissa Stewart and Sheriff Donald Barrera.

During the week of June 15-21, the Highland County Sheriff’s Office housed an average of 68 inmates, completed 41 transports, practiced two fire drills and performed one safety inspection.

There were 26 bookings during this week. Seventeen female inmates were housed, along with 51 male inmates.

Forty-six felony charges, 86 misdemeanor charges and 27 drug-related charges were issued this week.

The Sheriff's Office conducted 39 transports to court and two transports to other facilities, for an estimated 174 miles.

The Sheriff’s Office also wished a happy birthday to Deputy Kathy Estep.
