Highland County Sheriff's Office Jail Division Report

The Highland County Sheriff's Office Jail Division has released the weekly jail statistics report by Deputy Melissa Stewart and Sheriff Donald Barrera.
During the week of June 1-7, the Highland County Sheriff’s Office housed an average of 79 inmates, completed 17 transports and performed one safety inspection.
There were 47 bookings during this week. Nineteen female inmates were housed, along with 60 male inmates and one contract inmate.

Seventy-one felony charges, 108 misdemeanor charges, and 41 drug-related charges were issued this week.
The Sheriff's Office conducted three transports to prison(s), 10 transports to court and four transports to other facilities, for an estimated 1,236 miles.
Road Sergeant Seaman instructed taser training. Deputy Steve Collins, Deputy Kathy Estep, Deputy Ron Martin and Deputy Dustin Cummings participated in this training.
Deputy Alexander instructed mace training. Deputy Collins, Deputy Johnny Lake, Deputy Cherish Albright, Deputy Estep and Deputy Martin participated in this instruction.
