Highland County Family Y branches with YMCA of Greater Cincinnati

CINCINNATI – The Highland County Family YMCA is joining the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati association of community branches.
For the past year-and-a-half, the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati has been providing operating management to the Highland County Family Y, located at 201 Diamond Drive in Hillsboro.
“This merger provides an exciting opportunity for the Hillsboro YMCA,” said Debra Jones, president of the board of directors of the Highland County Y.

“We will be able to benefit from the many resources of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and provide our staff with additional training opportunities, resulting in new and enhanced programs for our members.”
“We welcome the Highland County Y members and the entire community into our extended Y family,” said YMCA of Greater Cincinnati President and CEO Sandy Walker.
“Together, we can expand Y programs and services.
The Highland County Family YMCA is a beautiful facility that offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, heated six-lane indoor pool, a college-sized gymnasium, walking/running track, sauna, lockers, Zumba® and other group exercise classes plus free Y Kid’s Club child care, while members work out or visit with friends at the Y.”
Members are welcome at all YMCA locations in Ohio and Kentucky.
Located at 201 Diamond Drive in Hillsboro, the Highland County facility will be the fourteenth branch location of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, that operates full service branch facilities in Ohio and Kentucky.
The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati also operates an overnight camp, Camp Ernst, and over 80 childhood education centers.
“I would like to invite all community members to come for a free visit to the Y,” said Highland County Family YMCA Director Kellie Kiser. “We have numerous programs for all ages, from youth sports to SilverSneakers®.”
