Highland County Day at the Ballpark Saturday, July 26

Highland County Day at the Ballpark is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati Reds will host the Washington Nationals.
The event is sponsored by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $23 (the actual ticket price).
The chamber encourages people to buy tickets early. The goal is to sell 1,500 tickets.
If 1,000 tickets are sold, it allows the chamber to select someone from Highland County to throw out the first pitch.
"The Chamber of Commerce will announce the procedure – that will be fair to all citizens of Highland County who wish to compete – to choose that person once the 1,000 tickets are sold," Betty Bishop told The Highland County Press.
The sales dates are May 19-June 25. All tickets must be sold 30 days prior to game day.
"This activity was chosen by the Chamber board as a result of a board strategy session to create fun and good will throughout the entire county," Bishop said.
