HDH ranked one of the best small hospitals in Ohio

Highland District Hospital was recently recognized as the fourth best small rural hospital in the state of Ohio by iVantage ( a national hospital consulting firm that rates hospital performance).
The ranking compares Highland District Hospital to 34 other rural hospitals in the 25 acute care bed category. Areas measured in the ranking include quality, service and financial stability.
The ranking is the result of the extraordinary work of our staff and physicians assuring our patients receive high quality care on a daily basis.
“Quality is important to our staff and physicians,” HDH CEO Jim Baer said, “and we continuously measure and monitor the care we provide to be sure it meets and exceeds standards.”
HDH provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of its patients. These services include ER, OB; oncology, specialty physicians, rehabilitative services and, inpatient care and adult geriatric services as a separate 10 bed unit.
