Hamersville woman, Winchester man charged with raping children

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office announced charges May 13 against a Hamersville woman and Winchester man accused of “sexual activity with children,” according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, “on May 11, investigators arrested Amber Brewer, a 26-year-old female, following a joint investigation between the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Mt. Orab Police Department.
“The investigation began when the Mt. Orab Police Department received a complaint of child pornography. The investigation led to a residence [in Hamersville], the home of Amber Brewer.”
The sheriff’s office alleges that “Amber Brewer and Billy Sheeley, 47, of Winchester, were involved in sexual activity with children ranging in age from 2 to 8 years of age. Billy Sheeley was located and arrested at a location in Adams County.”
Both individuals have been charged in Brown County Municipal Court. The BCSO said that “initial charges of rape, gross sexual imposition, endangering children and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance have been filed.”
According to the BCSO, “The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
