Greenfield woman sentenced to prison for drug possession
A Greenfield woman was sentenced this week to two years in prison after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Chenoa Dove-Jordan, 43, was indicted in September and charged with that count as well as tampering with evidence, also a third-degree felony. Jordan pleaded guilty to the drug possession charge Oct. 31, according to court records.
The indictment alleges that on or about March 29, Dove-Jordan “knowingly obtained, possessed or used” a fentanyl-related compound “in an amount equal to or exceeding five grams but less than 10 grams.”
Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Dove-Jordan to 24 months in prison. She had five days of jail time credit.
