Greenfield robbers arrested; meth labs discovered during search

Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera reports that on May 12, the Highland County Sheriff’s Office received information of the Country Corner Carry-Out aggravated robbery, in Madison Township, Highland County.
According to Sheriff Barrera, detectives and deputies from the Greenfield Police Department and Highland County Sheriff’s Office worked the case and followed up on leads.
Barrera states that detectives were led to two residences in Greenfield, where they interviewed subjects and were given permission to look inside a home at 427 North Washington Street. Once inside, detectives discovered what appeared to be 26 one-pot meth labs. After further investigation, the subjects admitted to the aggravated robbery of the Country Corner Carry-Out. Several items were recovered at the scene.

The Highland County Sheriff’s Office arrested Trevor Corey Roades, 20, of Greenfield, and Joshua A. Knauer, 36, of Lakeview, Logan County, for the aggravated robbery. The meth lab incident remains under investigation pending lab results, with further charges pending.
Sheriff Barrera would like to thank the Greenfield Police Department, the detectives and all officers involved in helping to quickly solve this case.
