Greenfield Police Chief Hester honored as he prepares to retire

Greenfield Police Chief Tim Hester was honored with a retirement party Tuesday, Dec. 15 as he prepares to leave a 26-year career that began in 1988. Hester became chief of the Greenfield Police Department in 2004 and his official retirement will occur in March 2016.

Many from the criminal justice system stopped by the Highland County Courtroom to wish Chief Hester well, including several law enforcement professionals, judges, attorneys, and current and former community leaders.

Highlights included presentation of an attractive clock from Greenfield employees, a proclamation from the Highland County Commissioners presented by Tom Horst, and a plaque from Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera.
