Greenfield man sentenced for tampering with evidence
A Greenfield man was sentenced last week to community control after pleading guilty to tampering with evidence.
As previously reported, Donald L. Holt, 39, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in April and was charged with one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and one count of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony. According to court records, Holt pleaded guilty to the tampering charge in June, with the drug possession charge dismissed.
A bill of particulars alleges that in December 2024, while a Hillsboro Police officer conducted a traffic stop on Holt’s vehicle, Holt hid drug paraphernalia inside a drainage grate.
Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Holt Wednesday to three years of community control. Holt was also ordered to successfully complete substance use disorder treatment and recommended aftercare.
