Four Whiteoak seniors receive final James Evilsizer Scholarship

The 25th consecutive year of the James Evilsizer Scholarship saw four recipients from Whiteoak High School: Kyle Adams, Courtney Cummings, Madison Lehr, and Emily Stratton.

Each of these seniors received $700. Not only did this mark the 25th anniversary for the scholarship, but it will also be the final year it will be given out.

Throughout the years, the fund has given over $100,000 in financial aid to students. The district would also like to thank Gary Heaton for all his years of dedication and service to the Bright Local School district and the surrounding communities.
