Former Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich and his wife, Elizabeth, are expected to attend the free film screening of Jeremy Seifert's "GMO OMG" on Saturday, Sept. 19 on Cave Road between Hillsboro and Bainbridge.

The film examines genetically modified foods and seeds.

Dennis Kucinich, 68, served in Congress from 1997 to 2013. He was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president of the United States in 2004 and 2008.

Elizabeth Kucinich, 38, is an organic food and vegan advocate. She is the producer of "GMO OMG."

The film presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at 7240 Cave Road. Guests are asked to call (937) 365-1330 in order to reserve a seat, as space is limited.

"We are expecting a lot of people, but we still would like our fellow citizens to know there are folks around and right among them who want their food to remain as pure and wholesome as the Creator has intended it to be," said event organizer Kevin Bruce.
