Firefighters re-called to North Shore Drive business

Firefighters were called Saturday afternoon to a rekindling of the Friday fire at the Breakers Sports Bar in the 11000 block of North Shore Drive.

The initial fire was reported at approximately 3:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6.

Multiple area stations responded to the fire and battled subfreezing temperatures around 10 degrees during the early morning hours on Feb. 6.

Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's Office were on the scene Friday morning.

Smoke was visible from the remaining structure on Saturday afternoon and firefighters returned.

Approximately 20 firefighters responded on Friday morning.
