A Dayton woman indicted by a Highland County grand jury on six counts earlier this year was sentenced recently to two years in prison.

Allison Trader, 33, was indicted in February and charged with one count of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, a third-degree felony; one count of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a third-degree felony; two counts of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, both fourth-degree felonies; and two counts of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, both fourth-degree felonies.

Trader pleaded guilty June 20 to the third-degree felony meth trafficking charge, with the other five charges dismissed. For that count, the indictment alleged that on or about April 28, 2023, Trader “did knowingly sell or offer to sell” meth “in an amount equal to or exceeding bulk amount but less than five times bulk amount.”

Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Trader to two years in prison, with jail time credit of 38 days. She was additionally ordered to pay $600 in restitution to the Highland County Task Force.
