City workers tear down shed, mow grass at East South Street property

Hillsboro city employees were demolishing an outbuilding on private property owned by Robert J. Braman, at 155 East South Street on Thursday morning, April 30.

Braman was a 2013 candidate for Hillsboro City Council and was a former treasurer of the Highland County Tea Party.

According to the Highland County auditor's website, the property taxes are current.

City workers from the street department, water department and wastewater department were busy razing a shed with a backhoe and loading debris onto a city truck this morning. They also had instructions from the city administration to mow the yard.

The property is at the intersection of East South and South East streets.
