Cincinnati Post of OSHP investigating 3-vehicle serious injury crash on I-275
The Cincinnati Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle serious injury crash that occurred Monday, Aug. 26 at 12:45 p.m. on IR 275 near milepost 47 in the city of Sharonville, Hamilton County.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2015 Honda Civic, operated by Michael Lenz, 77, of Cincinnati, was traveling eastbound on IR 275 and attempted a lane change, allegedly striking a 2015 Honda Accord operated by Luanne Cain, 67, of Morrow. The Honda Civic then allegedly struck a 2005 Nissan Exterra, operated by Lawrence Keller, 66, of Fairfield.
Lenz was transported by ambulance to Bethesda North Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained during the crash.
Keller sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. He was treated by medical personnel and released at the scene.
Cain did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash and was released at the scene.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Sharonville Police Department, Sharonville Fire Department and EMS services, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The crash remains under investigation by the Cincinnati Patrol Post.
